Spoons Impact Report – 2024
We’re pleased to share our Impact Report for 2024. As a small team of staff and volunteers, we are proud of the transformative impact our services can have for families experiencing neonatal care across Greater Manchester.
Some key highlights from the past year, include:
- Supporting 1,772 families on 7 neonatal units
- Supporting 45 families through home visits
- Supporting 75 parents through specialised trauma therapy
- 18 peer support volunteers giving 1,196 hours of support
- Supporting 104 families through community groups… and much more.
I knew Spoons would be the group I would turn to, to ask questions and to share my feelings, knowing they would be understood and validated. Spoons has been a guiding light for me. They’ve shown me so much support and compassion.
