You may have already seen in the media that on Wednesday afternoon (18th June), a serious fire started at Storage World in Middleton. As of midday on Friday 20th June, the fire service are still tackling this fire. This is the location of Spoons’ registered address and storage base.
It is our understanding that no one has been injured, thankfully. However, there is significant damage to the building and its contents - the extent to which is unknown and will not be fully realised until early next week, at the earliest.
We want to send our love and thoughts to everyone in our community who has been affected by this incident. We would also like to extend our thanks to the emergency services for their hard work in tackling the fire.

The fire service and police have asked that people stay way from the building as they work to put the fire out.
Although the extent of the damage is unknown, we do know that all or most of our equipment, resources and materials will be damaged or lost.
