Team Spoons take on the GM Run
On 26th May 2024, 28 enthusiastic fundraisers stepped up to run the iconic Great Manchester Run 10k to raise vital funds for Spoons. Our Founder, Kirsten Mitchell, was joined by staff, volunteers, neonatal parents and trustees – all inspired by their own personal connection to Spoons. We had a fantastic day, raising over £12,000 to support families in Greater Manchester who have experienced neonatal care!
Thanks to William James Recruitment, who not only contributed over £4,000 to the total raised, but also hosted us at their city centre office on the day of the run, providing complimentary catering for our runners and their families.
